Before founding Grafin Partners, Luiz Bessa was a partner at Zaxo, where he led the firm to the top of the Anbima ranking in the South of Brazil for three consecutive years and to third place nationally. With experience in M&A since 2003, he is the advisor with the highest number of transactions in the South and the 14th nationwide, according to Transactional Track Record, having advised on deals totaling over R$ 3 billion. He has led landmark transactions, including the Series D capital raise with Goldman Sachs, the acquisition of Tiny by Olist, and the full sale of Volk to Bunzl. He holds a degree in Business Administration from UFPR, a postgraduate degree from FGV-SP, and specializations in corporate finance and negotiation from MIT and Harvard.
Leandro has over 15 years of experience in Finance, Operations, and Project Management. He worked at Siemens and Votorantim Cimentos, leading investment projects, financial management initiatives, and governance improvements in family-owned businesses across multiple sectors. He also worked in Mexico and, upon returning to Brazil, became a partner at the M&A boutique Zaxo. He holds a degree in Computer Engineering from PUC-PR and an MBA in Finance from IBMEC.
Alisson Forti is an executive with 20 years of experience in Business Development, Logistics, and Commercial operations. He began his career at ALL and, at Votorantim Cimentos, led strategic projects across the Commercial and Logistics areas. At Hidrovias do Brasil, he headed the winning project for the STS20 auction in Santos. Before joining Grafin as a partner, he held leadership roles at a family-owned infrastructure investment holding company. Alisson holds a degree in Production Engineering from PUC-PR, an Executive MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral with an extension program at the Kellogg School of Management, and is a certified board member by IBGC.
He founded Teiko Soluções, where he worked for 20 years, leading merger and acquisition processes and the subsequent full sale of the group, which surpassed R$45 million in revenue in the healthcare technology sector. After entrepreneuring in Mexico through a Flowti business unit, he returned to Brazil to lead the sale of the company and become a partner at Grafin. In parallel, he acts as a mentor to entrepreneurs, supporting management strengthening and strategic positioning. An investor in startups, he serves on advisory boards, contributing to accelerated business growth. He holds a degree in Computer Science from FURB, MBAs from INPG and FGV, and a master’s degree in Data Science from Univali.
With a solid career in strategy, business, and corporate finance, he has worked at companies such as Rhodia, Suzano, Braskem, and Statkraft. He is a cofounder of Poli Angels and has been an angel investor since 2016. In addition to his role at Grafin Partners, he is Chief Strategy Officer at Tembici, after having served as CFO from 2020 to 2024, and acts as a mentor at G4 Educação in the areas of Finance and Operational Excellence. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from POLI-USP, specializations from ESPM and TÜV NORD, an MBA from FGV, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree at UNIFESP.
